I know that El Cajon is a suburb of San Diego ( And , I am mentallyl pronouncing it " El Kay-Hon " as I write this . )...It is where Lester Bangs , the super rock critic guy/writer , grew up . Anybody have anything to say about Lester ?
I once spoke to him , briefly , when he was on a radio show and they had a call-in segment , some time around 1979-81 .
