Briefly, this year, earlier,I did some time in Santa Cruz County Jail for breaking of probation,a probation that was put upon me(the court lying in their presentation of their plans/conditions before I agreed to it) after I was arrested for non=-payment of umpteen homeless camping/sleeping tickets that, not having the money,i didn't show up for the court cases on(I had a rather incompetent pro bono lawyer at that time, too, who said " he could do nothing ",IIRC,so)...This is a rather tramped/sloppied out post,I realize,I won't B able 2 get 2 a computer til' after Monday,"the holiday that no-one celebrates anymore":-).........

I rather resent the (non-supervised) probation more than the time, which got me some rest/medical care, sort o:--f...

...Okay , now I'll try a more detailed outline of this . I am listening to Bessie Love , Buster Keaton , John Gilbert etc. (allegedly) singing " Singin' In The Rain " from " The Hollywood Revue Of 1929 " except I now put Ambrose and His Orchestra doing Noel Coward's " Half-Caste Woman "...Um , anyway...This will have to be in installment . As I said above/IIRC for all of this: In the first part of this year , the number of not-shown-up-for hearings from those homeless tickets caught up with me , with me getting arrested on a holiday . I had been getting those tickets for a while , and by then I was getting letters dunning me for more and more unpaid fines put against me , too , as they kept having hearings against me and I didn't show up and the total went up (A bit of it may have been based on similar tickets in San Francisco - which I rather " moved away from " in later 2011 and hadn't been inside the boundaries of since November 2012 at that point at the BBC , " I'll Be On My Way " and Noel Coward , " Dance Little Lady " before . Okay , I'll stop .) . When I was arrested I was taken to the main SC County Jail , on River Street downtown , run by the Sheriff's office , though I was arrested by a SCPD policeperson . My personal items got taken by the Jail - what was in my clothes , basically - My bags were taken to the SCPD office , a half-mileish away . ( I have commented - On Facebook , no less .that " Santa Cruz has more per capita homeless guys with acoustic guitars than anywhere else in the world " ! Not " The " Homeless Guy , mind you , Kevin:-)...) On my hearing on the 2nd morning after , with me panicky , not only over being in jail in general but the fact that my birthday was within the week , they offered me a suspended sentence thing , immediate release , along with a Stay-Away order (capitalized for easier acronymising) to have me stay off of lower Pacific Avenue in SC , the "Pacific Garden Mall " they call it , the non-supervised probation running two years . ( The area where I had been getting the tickets for sleeping/camping at was not the PGM . ) Obviously(??) , this essentially ran me outta town . When in court I was offered the plea (I guess a guilty?? nolo contendre?? plea ? Not sure of the precise technology , which will re-occur here .) I did , before agreeing , ask the court " Are there any more cases/tickets in the hopper against me ? " as there seemed to be more recent ones of these tickets that weren't being mentioned to me in court . In response to this , all personell in the court did not respond at all . They were utterly silent . I took that as a " No , there's not any additional cases/whatever against you in the hopper " , silly me . I.e. , they were lying . There was more . (if lying by " omission " , not " commission " ~ Oh , I think I used the phrase " in the hopper " , someone I know seemd to think , when I told her about saying it , that that was too old-fashioned a phrase . You ? ) However , that day , released , I left for San Jose , which has remained - by virtue of having a mailbox here - my " official home " since them . I switched my mail from Santa Cruz to San Jose . Then , one day , a forwarded letter for still new injunctions/orders to go to court (whatever the precise language is) , based on tickets I had recived while in SC , arrived for me in SJ...

...Briefly , I decided to go to SC , from SJ (There's was some/has been some bouncing back and forth among the two towns - via the $5 dollar bus ride back and forth between then - throughout all this , and I won't try to get it right now/completely accurate - Meaning , at what times I was in SC , and and what times SJ - When it revolved around being behind locked doors and walls in SC , with well-built men with tasers and cuffs keeping me there , you'll know:-)) . The idea was to (I may , once again , not get every specific legal term exactly right , working from memory now .) , I guess , ask for/demand a trial , the thought was , at least in part?? , some possible " do the suspended sentence time and , through thus , get the probation called off after doing my time " . Besides which , I did think I could , maybe , later if not initially , get a little medical care/respite in jail - maybe (I'm not sure if I've ever specified what I'm referring to here , and I'm not going to , now , digress more from the main point of this to explain what the medical part was .) ~ And , actually , since my SSD presently comes in this " by the week " form , through a payee , let a few weeks' worth pile up while I'm inside and , once outside , have money sufficient for a bus ticket/new clothes-backpack/whatever . When I got to Santa Cruz , I did go to the courthouse trying to set up a hearing . One was set up , but a while from then (" The wheels of the law move slowly " ? :--). It should also be mentioned that , from before the initial arrest on , I had a pro bono legal adviser ` A lawyer whom , I'm afraid , eventually turned out to be rather useless , as just the part relating to this will indicate . As the tickets piled up , he'd say " Well , I can't do nthing about it . " , IIRC , at least contributing to my own tendency to let things bubble/heat away to the side , off on the side-back burner . Anyway , a hearing was set , this at the " traffic " (also including " minor infractions-misdemeanors*) court , not the " regular " court that the initial hearing/probabtion imposition had been in . I ended up in jail (and could have - and STILL could - do considerably more) - So , I do believe that " criminal " is an accurate phrase . And then - the same I day I went to the court , I left my backpack - A quite nice , heavy " real " backpack that I was quite proud of ! - in the men's restroom , IIRC , and it was gone - " flat-out " stolen ? Thrown away by the janitor ? - when I came back for it !!!!!!! This left me rather stuck in Santa Cruz , at least for the rest of that week until my next SSD slice came (and someone at a church in SJ , where I'd been going , and who had helped me a bit , responded to a come-get-me request with a " I'mm sorry . I can't . " ! So. immediately anyhows , I was stuck in Santa Cruz ! After this (or whenever) , I did , when on the PGM , get occasional reminders from cops of " You're not supposed to be here . I could arrest you . " warnings . (the SAO) However , no action was done on that ! Until... Well folks , it looks like the little clock up on the wall is saying...So , til' next week , remember what our sponsor says... *-Since language/the practices on this varies from state to state , and I'm not a lawyer , PLEASE! don't get too burning-my-ass specific about EXACTLY what terminology I use !!!!! Okay This all

...The thing is , too ~ and I am rushing this out before the library closes ~ I even wanted to , with my SSD coming n weekly , not monthly , chunks save up some money to get away...I may do that again . Likewise , for a chance to " rest " , anyway , and hopefully get some pills for my infection wile I'm doing it , just for a few weeks...I haven't re-read my above posts , so...

...I am the same person as joesbo (Ya think ? :-)) , and , briefly , I did a monthish of time in the SC County Jail in 2013 over this stuff...One , ironically , good result (Though it swiftly went downhill after I was out .) was that the jailhouse idleness/lying down lots with my foot elevated and getting minimal pills/bandaging from the nurses' station caused my infected big toe (Only one at that time:-() to get somewhat healed - Though , again , it went back downhill after I was out . (Possibly only on the outside , not the internal infection ~ But , the wound seen DID really get smaller , and nice new pink skin-:-)- appeared !!!!!!!!!!!) Now , back in SC , I am getting more homeless camping tickets , as well as old ones hanging around from 2014 directly before I left - Bluntly , I am seeing if , maybe , with no other possible place to get rest/recup care apparent in Santa Cruz , as was the case in Seattle (and I looked , too ,) as well - Whether , if not to obviously " trying to " be shut up , another jail term might let my present , post-the amputation operation , open wound get better , and some progress on the " learning to walk again "front v~ And maybe make me more " Housing First ! "-eligible ? To be blunt , I have thought that my record may have been at least one factor leading to the hospital in WA stating " We couldn't get anyone to take you " ~ If it's what's nessecary , all I can do...........
